The AIRPRO-26 is our largest capacity fluid bed roasting system optimized to roast 26 pounds/12 kg of green coffee batch size. Due to the large power load necessary to roast 26 lbs of green coffee, the AIRPRO-26 is only available as a 3-phase, 208 Volt, 65 Amp system. Most roasters of this capacity use natural gas to generate the necessary heat for roasting. However, the high-capacity AIRPRO roasters utilize a patented “High Residence Time” heating system that allows efficient use of electric power to generate the necessary heat for coffee roasting.
The AIRPRO-26 will produce clean heated air without introducing hydrocarbons from thermal combustion that can alter the flavors and taste of your coffee. For those roasting organically grown coffee, you can preserve the organic status of your coffee when roasting with an AIRPRO roaster.
The AIRPRO 26 Fluid Bed Coffee Roaster has all the same standard features as the AIRPRO-22, but also has these additional features:
- Heating capacity of 20.4 kilowatts for high volume roasting.
- High performance loft blowers needed to levitate and fluidize 26 lbs of green beans.
- Extra dense ceramic insulation for maximum thermal efficiency.
AIRPRO-26 Power Requirements:
- 208 Volt, 3-Phase, 65 Amps for heating circuit.
- 120 Volt, 1-Phase, 20 Amps for controls, loft blower and cooling fan
